The targeted advertising that uses sex appeal to push products is turning me off to web ads.  I fully understand how most web sites and free services are ad supported.  I intentionally did not use Adblock Plus to remove ads because I felt it wasn’t fair to website owners.  However, after several months of seeing woman’s (clothed) breasts pointed at me to advertise everything from dating sites to job banks I’ve installed Adblock Plus again.  Adblock plus is a firefox plugin that removes most web advertisements from websites.  Now there is one less distraction in between me and God or me and my wife.  Sorry website owners.  I gave you a chance and you blew it.  Not everyone wants to see your sex appeal advertising.

To use AdBlock Plus you must be using the FireFox web browser.  FireFox is a free and open source web browser that gives you more features and far better security than Internet Explorer.  I recommend it to anyone who browses the internet.

To install Adblock Plus follow the steps below:

1) In FireFox go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

2) Click on the “Add To FireFox” button

3) Follow prompts

After FireFox restarts:

1) Select Tools > Adblock Plus Preferences

2) Select Filters > Add Filter Subscription

3) Select Easylist USA then press the Subscribe button

4) Select Filters > Update All Subscriptions
