If you hadn’t spent so much time with us on vacation I think you would have presented your speech differently. I thought it was good enough but not as dynamic as your other ignite Phoenix.

The only comment I have is this.

During the Clinton administration our Government employees, soldiers, sailors, and airmen were the subject of many attacks on U.S. Property.

1993 World Trade Center bombing
1996 Khobar Towers bombing
1998 U.S. Embassy Bombing Dar es Salaam
1998 U.S. Embassy Bombing Tanzania
1998 U.S. Embassy Bombing Nairobi
2000 Bombing of the USS Cole

The nonexistent response to these terrorist attacks is likely what fueled Bin Laden’s plan to destroy our towers on 09/11/2001

I don’t know the exact body count of these events, but in my mind they were outright acts of war against the United States…yet….nothing in response other than placing Usama Bin Laden at the top of the FBI 10 most wanted list and a pair of cruise missiles to do a flyby of an Al Queda training camp.

I am not blind to the damage that George Bush has caused us in the international community and at home, but our passive response to these brazen attacks only strengthened the resolve of the enemy.

Leo, I liked what you wrote! It was very insightful! I didn’t know you were taking a sabatical. What are you going to do with that time? Have you given anymore thought to starting a youth group to learn how to be good spouses and parents?

I’ve donated to Kiva and it’s a wonderful thing to help people.

I just saw something on tv tonight about being a hero. it’s a program that helps people in the US with anything, some people just want a birthday card one lady needed a new fridge!! you pick who you want to help.when i find out i’ll let you know.

I am so happy to see your comments about the illegal aliens.
I too feel that most are trying only to help their families. I’m not sure what to do with them to make their lives better and make U.S. citizens happy also.

Another comment I enjoyed is about the Loans for Poor Entrepreneurs I do believe that your Aunt Paula and Uncle Doug have been contributing to that for years. In fact she sent out emails about it a while back.
