Easy and Delicious Breakfast Smoothie

I started running with my son last week. After running, we decided to make a healthy breakfast. My usual breakfast bar would not suffice. With that thought in mind we made a very easy breakfast smoothing that I believe is nutritious. With milk, peanut butter, and banana’s you are getting many nutrients. Here are the ingredients for one serving.

1 banana
1 cup of milk (2%)
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 teaspoon of sugar
1/4 cup of smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup of ice

Instructions:
1) Cut the banana into slices and place in a blender
2) Put milk, vanilla, sugar, peanut butter, and ice in the blender
3) Blend until smooth
4) Drink and enjoy

Tips:
Feel free to experiment, don’t measure, add/remove ingredients
Replace milk with soy milk for a creamier non dairy blend
Replace milk and peanut butter with orange juice and berrys - (You will lose protein)
Try adding flax seed or sunflower seeds for additional nutrients
