I remember thinking, moments before seeing the woman preparing the suitcase, that it would have made more sense for her to be holding a suitcase as opposed to a random object like a metal bucket. Plus, the bucket coupled with the running water imagery at the start made it seem she might be a farm woman fetching water for her family. Which is an equally powerful idea - but to switch up in mid-stream almost negates the idea of "carrying that weight a long time." It would have made a more powerful statement, in my opinion, to stay with one weighty object throughout. Otherwise, very impressive. Interesting perspective on the song.
